Surrounded by three hectares of beautifully landscaped parkland, where pine trees, palm trees and centuries-old plane trees flourish, this exceptional property offers a true haven of peace, where nature, heritage and refinement come together in perfect harmony.
Meticulously restored between 2022 and 2023, the château has preserved its authentic character while offering warm, contemporary comfort. Designed around 1880 by Bordeaux architect Louis Garros, its remarkable architecture reflects the rich winemaking heritage of the Béziers region. Today, the estate welcomes guests seeking serenity, escape and unforgettable experiences in an enchanting setting.
Our Accommodation 
During your stay, let yourself be enchanted by the whisper of the wind through the pine trees, the lush green meadows and the sweeping views over the surrounding vineyards. Our three light-filled and elegantly appointed apartments can accommodate between two and eight guests, offering the perfect setting for a peaceful and unforgettable escape.
A passion for interior design is reflected throughout the château, where antique furnishings blend harmoniously with contemporary pieces to create a timeless and refined atmosphere. For your private events, the accommodations may be exclusively reserved to host up to twelve guests in complete comfort.

Your Hosts
In 2021, the couple living on the family estate decided to restore the dilapidated château and open their little corner of paradise to the public.
Surrounded by century-old trees, the château gives pride of place to flora and fauna. You'll come across horses, squirrels... to the sound of birds and cicadas in a rural setting.
Born in Béziers, Jennifer grew up immersed in two great passions: rugby, through her father, one of Béziers’ rugby greats of the 1970s, and horses, inherited from her mother. A show jumping rider and horse breeder, Jennifer has been deeply devoted to the estate for many years. Bringing new life to her childhood home and sharing its unique spirit with guests has long been a heartfelt ambition.
Originally from the Loire region, Patrick developed a lifelong passion for automobiles, inherited from his father at an early age. He spent more than fifteen years turning that passion into a career before embarking on a new adventure. Out of love for Jennifer, he chose to join her in this ambitious and exciting project, helping to bring the Château de Bayssan to life and share its timeless charm with their guests.
United by their love of gardens, interior design and beautiful heritage properties, Jennifer and Patrick were naturally drawn to creating a place where guests can feel at home. Together, they have opened the château’s charming accommodations and now welcome both private stays and special events in this exceptional setting.
Things to Do in Béziers
As soon as you arrive, you'll be drawn to the Cathédrale ST Nazaire and its cloister near the old prison.
You will then stroll through the town, marvelling at the architecture of the Haussmann buildings constructed in the 19th century by wealthy winegrowers.
The walk continues along the Allées Paul Riquet, the central thoroughfare of the city centre, in the shade of the plane trees, where you can relax on the terrace of a café.
Further down, the statue of Pierre Paul Riquet towers over the jewel in the crown, the Canal du Midi, with its nine locks, a major tourist attraction in the region.
The stroll along the Allées Paul-Riquet leads to the Plateau des Poètes, a magnificent English-style garden designed by the Bühler brothers, renowned landscape architects of the 19th century.
Your visit will continue to the Béziers bullring, at the end of the Avenue Saint Saëns, an ideal venue for bullfighting events and concerts.
